On the "Invite Your Friends to People for Earth" page you have three options:
Here's how:
Once you've entered your friends' email addresses, all you have to do is type the invitation message.
First, browse through the list of existing groups to see if there's already an established group on the topic of interest where you can join it, and/or ask the host to co-host it.
Log in. Go to the Groups page (Community → Groups) and click the "Create Group" link.
A host is a discussion leader – someone who has a positive attitude, is energetic and supportive, as well as enthusiastic and passionate about the group subject and wants to share that interest with others. Hosting does not require much time, but it is expected from the host that he/she is determining the structure and description of discussion topics. The host will also be eager to reply to other members’ posts or questions and welcome new members to the group.
Group hosts are expected to monitor for inappropriate posts on the board. It is also possible for group hosts to remove abusive or offensive posts.
The success of your People for Earth group has to do with the number of members that join it as well as the actual content and conversations within it. In order to make your group more successful you should work to grow your group.
Select the appropriate group, and then select "Delete the Group” at the left of the screen.
Once you’ve located a group to join (you can browse the Groups directory or search for a group by keyword, category or tags) click “Join the Group” in the upper-left corner of the group’s page.
On the group homepage use the "Invite your Friends" button to invite your People for Earth friends to join and/or send messages through email to other contacts to join the group.
If someone sent you an email invitation to join a group (and you’d like to join), click the link on the invitation. You will have to specify the type of messages you would like to receive from this group first. You can always change the preferences later on.
A group discussion consists of a tree like directory structure containing at the lowest end topics (or threads) and inside them posts. Group moderators are advised to organize the discussions into a finite set of generic topics.
Click the discussion topic link (as shown below).
A page with the collection of the posts for this topic opens. Click the "Create a new post" to create a new post for the discussion topic, or open an existing post to read and/or reply.
Members are allowed to edit or delete their own posts.
Got to “My Blog”...
Click the "Add a New Post" tab. Once you are finished typing your blog entry, click the »Preview« or "Create a new post" button at the bottom. If you decide to preview it before posting, you will have to return to the previous page by clicking »OK« button.
By clicking the “Add a Video or a Photo” link you add a 120px × 120px size image. Photos and videos can be included in a blog post also by clicking on the insert/edit image icon.
If you receive unwanted messages via People for Earth you can report these to the support team (support [AT] people4earth [DOT] net).
